Los Angeles, America’s second-biggest city, is a sprawling multicultural city with the trendiest restaurants, bars, beaches, and activities. L.A. owes much of its success to the film industry, which helped it to grow into the city it is today. Don’t leave Los Angeles without seeing some of its most famous Hollywood landmarks.

Hollywood Sign

Maybe the most iconic 9 letters in the world, the Hollywood Sign is high up in the Hollywood Hills. One of the best places to see the sign is from the Griffith Observatory. You can also hike up to it. You won’t be able to stand right in front, but the trail leads up to the back of the sign, with views of the city spread out before you.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Every iconic actor or actress since 1950 has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The stars are placed up and down Hollywood Boulevard, so there is no admission fee and no tickets required! Find your favorite star and take a picture with it. While you’re there, stop by the famous TCL Chinese Theatre. You’ll see the hand and footprints of actors from all eras of Hollywood – from Clark Gable to the Harry Potter cast.
