Get up close and personal with Hollywood’s most famous movies and stars! Here are two can’t-miss attractions in Los Angeles that are fun for the whole family.
Universal Studios and Citywalk Hollywood
Universal Studios is a must for film buffs. The park features sets and rides from popular blockbuster movies like Jurassic Park. Don’t forget to see Citywalk, a complex of restaurants, shops, nightclubs, and movie theaters right next to the theme park.
Madame Toussauds Hollywood
See all your favorite actors and actresses (almost) in the flesh at Madame Toussauds! This museum is a unique experience that features life-like wax replicas of famous actors and characters, such as Leonardo DeCaprio and Edward Scissorhands. Take a picture with your favorite Hollywood icon and see if you can fool your friends.
Los Angeles, America’s second-biggest city, is a sprawling multicultural city with the trendiest restaurants, bars, beaches, and activities. L.A. owes much of its success to the film industry, which helped it to grow into the city it is today. Don’t leave Los Angeles without seeing some of its most famous Hollywood landmarks.
Maybe the most iconic 9 letters in the world, the Hollywood Sign is high up in the Hollywood Hills. One of the best places to see the sign is from the Griffith Observatory. You can also hike up to it. You won’t be able to stand right in front, but the trail leads up to the back of the sign, with views of the city spread out before you.
Hollywood Walk of Fame
Every iconic actor or actress since 1950 has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The stars are placed up and down Hollywood Boulevard, so there is no admission fee and no tickets required! Find your favorite star and take a picture with it. While you’re there, stop by the famous TCL Chinese Theatre. You’ll see the hand and footprints of actors from all eras of Hollywood – from Clark Gable to the Harry Potter cast.
