Minutes away from SLO’s Amtrak station, you’ll find the famous Madonna Inn. The Madonna Inn has been a SLO staple since the late 1950s. Each of their 110 “whimsical” rooms is ornately decorated in a different theme. They’re guaranteed to be unlike any you’ve stayed in before – for example, the “Just Heaven” room features golden cherubs and is decorated with various shades of blue, with a winding staircase that leads up to a private viewing tower.
