We arrived at The Dana on July 5th and stayed through the 7th. We stayed in the "new" part of the hotel and the rooms were absolutely immaculate, we had 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The arcadia door opens onto a patio overlooking Mission Bay and a great park. If you have children I would recommend the ground floor as your children can play in the grassy area of the park as you sit on your patio watching them. Make sure to bring frisbees, kites etc. It was absolutely wonderful! There are also concrete fire pits located on the actual beach for evening hot dog roasts etc. We are already making plans to come bcak next year with 4 other couples. The pools are great with a pool bar located at the Tropical pool. The ONLY negative thing I can say is DO NOT EAT at the Blue Pearl. The wait staff is inexperienced, and EXTREMELY slow! There were only 3 other couples eating when we were there but our serving time was crazily slow-food cold when served- and a dirty table remained dirty the entire time we were there.
