Arriving at Capps Cove is like coming upon a hidden 19th century settlement. Shaded grounds and well-tended gardens connect a cluster of handcrafted buildings — a secluded retreat created a decade ago by Cason, Sybil and Cindy Capps, and reflecting their love of antiques and simple pleasures. Historical architecture with contemporary amenities.

A big red barn serves as the meeting house and site of wedding receptions. A white picket fence welcomes you to the small wedding chapel with an antique pump organ. There's the playhouse where people often gather for smaller events. And there are two quaint cabins that offer private lodging with fireplace, microwave, refrigerator, complimentary snacks, and a continental breakfast basket delivered daily.
